My RA doesn't have that foam piece blocking the air intake, but really isn't the stock intake resrictive enough. I am considering ordering the cold air intake from RRM next week, but i've only read one review so far. (at least it was a good review)

My shop just made a custom intake for the RA..... and works really well. In the process of doing that we experimented by trying different things with the stock intake.....the sponge piece being one of them. Taking this off doesn't really make a difference...you can't feel anything. We even took off the long snout of the stoke intake to see how it would perform.....just louder. The only way you will feel a difference is to either make a custom intake or buy RRM's CAI. If you make it yourself....you have to be careful with the MAS.

ah alright then, i tried taking that off yesterday, it looks like glued...i have to like cut the damn thing off or somthine, anyway, i'm getting a SRI, cause in vancoue, its raining all the freakin time, scared if i get the CAI, some ****'ll happen
