That almost sounds like a timing belt failure eh

Not much im pretty sure the piston was already busted up. I just hate this had to happen. I think my tension pulley wasn't quite in the right position and let it slip when I shut it off. I am happy to find my turbo actually isn't leanking its just where that's piston is jacked

at least now w/ the motor torn apart you have an excuse to upgrade all the internals...(if you hadn't before)

Yeah id like too... will the 5 th injector setup push 14 psi if the objectors on the fuel rail are 440 s? I know 12 can be ran with just 440's

Your just asking for problems upping the boost with that piggyback. The 5th injector just sprays more fuel into the manifold depending on the tps. Very much like a single fogger nitrous system. The first few cylinders will be rich and the last 2 will be lean. Wasn't it the piston closest to the passenger side the one that failed? Makes sense.

Ecu reflash and 4 larger injectors would be ideal, more reliable, not to mention more fuel efficient. Also i think it was hackish that said somewhere around 12psi the head either did, or could potentially lift off the deck of the block...so use high grade racing head studs.

My thoughts exactly...

Well I'm not sure I'm even gonna do anything other than fix it. The piston closest to the thromostat. I thought it was number 4 but keep forgettung exactly whixh the order starts with. Id really like to do some mods and raise the boost but I dunno if I will be able.

no matter what engine, the piston closest to the pulleys is #1...(just an easy tip to remember how it goes)
ps...im not turbo, and probably never will be(just can't afford it), nor am i an expert in turbo systems...but i can say 4 injectors instead of 5 would be better because ur having the fuel go to all the cylinders as needed...or like said above, the fuel keeps getting leaner as it goes down the intake...unless u'r doing wet nitrous(and then u'd want 4 fuel fittings, one at each port, or u'd probably end up the same way...1rich...2a bit rich...3a bit lean...4lean)...and w/ the turbo it may just be overkill to have nitrous on top of that...specially if u'r running higher boost

sry i just dropped of the planet for a while. anyway i still havent gotten this car back together due to time constraints and money issues, but i actually havent been able to find a piggyback anywhere. i bought the car with the turbo and have had to find everything out on my own (aside from what i have put on). i have looked everywhere and i dont think its even tuned.

p.s. on a side note the pistons did contact valves but the damage on 4, i believe, happened because the rings where never gapped for the turbo
