yeah RPW and RRM are NOT the best places to find parts...often, the manufacturer sells the parts right off their website, for less than these "one stop" shops...word of mouth and manufacturer's catalogues are the best place to find parts...you'll spend less on multiple shipping, than the overhead RRM puts on their product.

As I do more and more digging, this site and what people already have done is quite informative. I'll keep looking

timing box - RRM (useless)
UDP - RRM (yeah, but kind of a gimmick)
Fidanza flywheel - ebay (authorized fidanza dealer, see catalogue for part #, then google part number)
radiator - RRM (pretty sure most people use Evo rads, like mishimoto)
TB - ? I was reading you can get the eclipse gt 63mm from the oem mitsubishi part website (bad iadea without tuning, and I don't mean piggybacks...proper ECU tuning is the only way to run a larger throttle body properly.)
TB spacer - ? any spacer that fits that type of throttle body
Camshaft - ? (this one's tricky cause RRM and RPW are the only shops that had some made, by who? nobody knows...)

. Thanks for the reply, why is the timing box useless and Udp a gimmick? Would you suggest a camshaft over a intake manifold? I was reading a bit and the intake manifold takes a bit of time? Also I plan on getting a tune once everything is on! Cranswick, very knowledgeable I appreciate all the help, do you think I should make a build thread? Would you be interested to see progress? Or anyone for that matter

piggyback ECU's for fuel mapping, and timing boxes are useless because we now have multiple options for reflashing and tuning the stock ECU, so you get ignition timing and fuel maps, plus many many more features and editable parameters. I would take a cam over an intake manifold, yes...and i definately would not spend what RRM is asking for an intake manifold, when you can just port and polish your own, or buy a used one from a wrecker, have it ported and polished, and paint it yourself for probably half the price or less.

definately make a thread in the show an shine...but if you want to do a build thread, i'm sure there's lots of empty space on the server
