Rusty down pipe bolts

Rusty down pipe bolts

I've been trying to get my obx headers , there's just one problem the down pipe bolts aren't bolts any more lol ! Any ideas on removing them ? I heard cutting them off I just don't know what side to cut the side by the cat or the side by after the cat ? Need help any ideas ?

from the exhaust manifold, the next flange is behind the cat...they are both studs...which ever side you cut, you'll be cutting studs, I don't really understand your question...

On the down pipe bro . I got obx headers and where the down pipe connects with the rest of the exhaust the connection is so rusty !

ok...well you said "I've been trying to get my obx headers"...I assumed you meant you were trying to install them, because you didn't specify what you were "trying to get"...anyway, I thought the OBX header and downpipe deleted the cat. in the stock exhaust the flange behind the cat has studs so you would only be able to cut the nuts off. on the OBX if it's just bolts it doesn't matter which side you cut, cause they're bolts...

matter which side you cut, cause they're bolts...
Yeah my bad I'm trying to install them . So I'm going to try to cut them and see what happens .

Doesn't the stock cat have the studs welded into it? I assume its only the nuts on the downpipes side that need to be undone.
