Exhaust rasp

Hello , everybody just had a quick question and wanted to see what everyone is running on there cars exhaust.
Right now I'm running obx headers and down pipe and from there I got a vibrant resonator #1790 (Which is suppose to be really good with rasp ) and a magnaflow .
I got the vibrant because before I had a glass pack and the rasp was so terrible ! With the new vibrant resonator it helped a lot but still have some rasp ! 😔 Any ideas ?
Hi Flow cat ? Maybe ?

i'm running a test pipe with a cobb dual exit catback and it is really quiet during normal driving. I'd suggest that.

It sucks because the rasp is minimal its at 3,000 rpms to 3,500 rpms .
Does any one know if the RRM hi flow cat will take care of that little rasp

Wrong Ralliart man. It'll be a straight pipe for him since there's no turbo and it won't sound pretty. Just saying.

I just ran a header back exhaust with a high flow cat. It sounded really good on my old RA. I have the newer generation RA now and I'm straight piping but having the turbo there makes it sound different as opposed to an NA straight pipe.

Any high flow cat will work. Its going to have to be welded in anyway. They arent designed per application to be bolted in. So it doesnt matter if you buy it from RRM, Jegs, Summit, or whoever.

Ill share my experience. I had stock exhaust then I decided to get and aftermarket muffler sounded good. I finally decided to get the obx header dp. As soon as it was installed the car was excessively raspy. I though it was because of the header so to help it I got a high flow cat. Helped a little but still very raspy. What made a huge different was the huge glasspack I got from CT but I still had this annoying rasp sound. 2 years later I found out it was the OBX flex pipe. After changing it there was no more rasp at all!!

Interesting did you change it out for another flex pipe or you put a pipe right through ?

you need a resonator to tone down the high frequency noise...

Another flex pipe, at my local part store. The noise was driving me nuts ever since I had the exhaust done after changing everything it ended up being the flex... Even tho I went to like 3-4 different exhaust shops and noone even suspected it.

Do you have a picture of your new flex pipe ? Was it around the same size as the one that comes with the obx headers ?
