Does anyone know if any other engine can fit in the RA? Which car's engine?

I imagine that with slight modification both the regular lancer engine and the Evo's engine would fit. Then again with lots of modification you could probably put a 350 in it so, if you have the money and time you can put just about anything you want in.

if you run a search you might find that Japan has a motor that will go in the car pretty easily. I am thinking the Lancer that isnt the Evo in Japan was offered in a DOHC model and maybe even a turbo DOHC model (not totally sure there) that are not Evo motors. I think I remember reading the turbo model had like 200hp. I dont know for sure though. Check into it.

The Engine in the JDM spec Ralliart is a DOHC Turbo Mivec. At stock, it produces about 165 hp. That is "stock", though....so I'm sure it's mod-friendly.

I would say that our car, and motor, is too new to be looking for "something different"

the regular lancer engine and the DOHC JDM will fit. Unfortunately the Evo engine is built almost the exact opposite (why they did this nobody really knows) but the first 2 and if you're lucky more will fit.

he never said he wanted to change it even tho it was assumed, he just asked if others fit. i dont see what you would want to swap it to anyway.
