Car feels fast when cold outside and so slow when hot outside
I never said you made things up about the cold air intake, I simply said that regardless of the location, the intake can't bring in the same temperature air all the time. There is always going to be a difference in power because ambient air temperature and density changes. Nobody was insulting your intellect, I merely stated that this "problem" isn't actually a problem and it's not something that can be repaired.
My "simplistic solution" was meant to be just that, there's no need to get into thermodynamics and properties of air when the solution can be just as easily explained with a simple statement.
Might want to bring the attitude down a notch.
