Engine build before tuning is needed

So it has been a very very long time since I have been on here, I have now got another 4G69 and plan on just staying NA as I have a Evo6 to satisfy my turbo needs.

My original G69 has been long gone and I am building another, so far my mods are very limited but I do have a bigger T/B and a Injen SRI these are installed and going just fine.

I have a few parts left over from another build I attempted a few years ago these include a ported head and intake manifold a undercrank pulley.

Before I go pulling the car apart how successful will the car be without any tuning done on it - I realise that by getting the car tuned that it will enhance and give me maximum performance but with out this will the car still run? will it run rich or will it be lean or will it be a uttter pig.

Currently the car with the bigger TB it is fine better throttle response and consums more fuel but I am ok with that.

looking for peoples thoughts as to how you went going down this same path.

TIA

the throttle body isn't doing much, your restriction is still the MAF diameter, and the intake piping...also the exhaust...you're likely not getting much of anything without a tune...

so how much bigger should I be looking at on the intake piping what recommendations do you have. As for exhaust yeah I know I got to do that was looking at a 44mm long tube runners with a 21/2" exhaust with a 100cel cat - someone on another forum has said that the MMCflash works well on these cars but I am a little sceptical atm much prefer an actual physical tune

For diameter on the intake, you cannot exceed the MAF diameter unless you scale the MAF signal, or remove it all together (speed density).
