Question Ralliart turbo stuff

So i have recently bought an evo 6 turbo and manifold, gonna just cut it up to fit on the 4g69 head. Now that im looking at it irl i notice that the turbo compressor outlet has 2 bolt holes and no where to attach the wastegate, do i need to buy some special things to make it work on my ralliart? and if so can you guide me to a place where they arent that expensive

Hey man! So an evo turbo and manifold swap on a Ralliart isnt going to be quite so straight forward. For a few reasons. The Evo manifold and the ports on a 4g69 head dont quite line up properly. So just cutting the flange off and welding on another one isnt going to be quite right. Second the turbo will have a bit of trouble fitting in the same position as it would on an Evo. This is because the Ralliart has the starter motor mounted above the oil pan, right in the way of where the turbo would sit on an Evo. This isnt a problem on the Evo because the starter is down below the oil pan and out of the way. There are few ways you can work around this by spacing the manifold further out, or clocking the whole assembly upward toward the nose of the car. You'll see guys do this quite often on the 3G Eclipse platform on club3g.com.

Lastly, what you are describing doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Can you send some pictures of what you are talking about. I have some spare Evo parts laying around so I may be able to help if you can give me a visual.
