that sucks... i was just about to get a quote for the body kit from them too... having second thoughts now.. But yea you do know it's been the week end and it's a monday. I'm sure that they have gotten a lot of emails over the weekend and are currently still probably clearing up some backed up emails and yours might be lower on the list... I do wish you luck with your car, and btw what are you doing with your old hood??? i might be interested in buying it.. You have PM

 

LOL, wait till Dave@Accolade sees this haha, but yes trust me ive been in your shoes before. I ordered cai from www.first-1.com and it took them 3 months to ship it out to me, no phone number to call, they wouldnt respond to emails, i tried to cancel the order but to no avail. Good luck though

 

well yeah. business days are considered only monday to friday. i'm sure if you emailed on friday, you probably won't get a response til today or tomorrow. that's business.

hell, if i worked there and hella people email on the weekend, i'd hate to go to work on monday.

 

You guys are forgetting that SEMA is this week.. Its starts tomorrow as a matter of fact.They are probably super busy setting up their booth and getting everyhting done before they go.Not saying that I am justifying their actions.. Just give them some time.

As a owner of a speedshop myself,I would be going to SEMA if it werent for the fact that 1 the money involved in SEMA comes out of MY personal Pocket and 2. I had the Accident with the Ralliart that I had to pay for which was part of the money I had saved just to go. and 3.I run my own shop and have 1 other person who i work with as we are a small shop that just opened a few months ago,so I wouldnt have anyone to take care of things while I am gone for a week hence forcing me to lose money because I would have top be closed for a week.
Anyways,back to a good reason why they might not be answering thier Emails.. It takes a ton of time and money and alot of work to get ready for a show/convention like SEMA.Give them a few days to get their bearings again and I am sure they will answer you.Sema ends on Friday so they should be back by Saturday maybe sunday.

And for those who dont know what SEMA is.. Its the Aftermarket industry's biggest show for new and upcoming products and only industry members can attend.This is where alot of local speedshops go for a week and learn what is coming out in the next year or less and also where they can get more vendors to be able to sell you your parts for your car..It is a Big Convention that takes place only once a year.

So basically I am saying give them some time they are probably really busy with getting ready and going to SEMA so you can have more options for next year.

 

Customers shouldnt have to pay for these things; SEMA or not, thats not their problem. Customers always comes first or you will loose them and your credibility.


edit: however, im sure accolade has a good reason for not answering your email. I think they usually have a very good customer service.

 

first off who did u e-mail? if you e-mail a sri lanka account then don't except an e-mail for a day atleast. if you think about it. they get alot of thier e-mail's while they are sleeping and when we are awake. like he said sema is this week. that prolly means that they are busy setting up, like stated before. not sure what u ment by " customer shouldn't pay : sema and stuff " do you mean pay by waiting...? trust me you will not be upset with accolade sometimes there are delays due to other issues ( not only at accolade but other compines too ) just wait.

 

sema is ***'n everything up. i was gonna finally make progress on getting us a new NA header, and maybe a new cat-friendly downpipe.....but the shop is closed thanks to sema! lol, this show is the worst thing every for is ralliart owners

 

I didnt know about the sema.I would understand if thats their hold up but i've been waiting a long time to get my car back and you know how it is when one little detail is holding you up. Does anyone else know how to put the evo 8 hood from accolade on the ralliart?

 

Please please be patient... from the time you ordered your kit how long did it take.. 3-4 days to get to your body shop ? which is very fast. so waiting 4 days for reply counting saturday and sunday.. really you are just waiting 1 day.. as the 2nd day has yet to begin in Asia.. please be patient.. thanks.

 

I have calmed down a little, hearing things others have said, I've realized whats goin on. I just have to wait a little longer to get my car back
