or B. take off the bar at home then take it back to them.I doupt they would let me do that though.(affraid of gettin sued and s*it)

how does accolade make OEM spec hoods for the Ralliart according to Jap OEM specs when their is no Ralliart in japan? The closest thing woudl be the lancer MX touring, which has a similar body style, but a totally different engine and i believe its available in AWD. If accoldade thinks they can sell stuff made for the jap market here, then why dont we just broaden our options and look for any other body products for the jap version that are marketed in japan? i mean, we are gonna have to make the same body modifications either eay =) anyone read japanesse?

Of course it is safety hazard, if you remove any safety feature on your car it is going to be a safety hazard. A reinforcement bar is there for a reason.

The unfortunate thing is if you had searched before you purchased your kit you would have known about all of this. There are countless threads about this specific issue and this kit. I don't mean to sound like an *** but your kinda up **** creek now. Your only choice is to find another place that will do the work and not care about the reinforcement bar and federal laws or else do it yourself. OR sell the kit. I personally would be a little woried about getting into a serious accident without a reinforcement bar.

Good luck no matter what your choice is.

just try and sell the kit dude. Or give it back to accolade and get yo money- they did false advertise afterall. I'd fight that one to the end- their website says "OEM fit". Which is complete bull****. I wouldn't put up with that ****, and not having a reinforcement bar doesn't sound like a good idea.

yeah.but what can i do? since I was in a wreck I dont have a front bumper, and i sold my "ground effects kit" to help pay for the body kit.If i get my money back,($1,100) then I would still need side skirts and front bumper(aprox. $1,600)factory parts are a rip off.
I could have the insurance co pay for the carbon fiber hoods that are out..BTW how much are those? and I could wait untill a new kit came out for the RA..whats the best way to do this?

Ight, waiting for decision. I got all excited when I saw that Cf hood.I would send my accolade **** back get my money! patch the holes from the sideskirts, have the insurance co buy an OEM front bumper and use that untill a new kit came out..It would look like an es for a while but atleast it would have a sick *** hood.

yeah . . . i didnt use double side tape on mine except for a couple spots and it doesnt look good. We will figure it out if you want to do it. YOu can come down to my side or i can go up there. theres a lot more cars down here and we could cruise or what not after wards.

Get that **** out of the garage and get it down to Avondale and lets get that evo kit on it. its time you got behind the wheel again lol
