double clutch
double clutching is to hard on street/road course for me, not that i ever race on the street you know, but i tried mastering the art of blipping throttle while downshifting to stop faster but it was too hard. double clutching while dragging has shaved about half a sec on my civic and escort @ track but i haven't had time to bring evo there yet though.
that is true, you can't drive those w/o double clutching. but double clutching your car will let it shift faster and firmer. but, easy to double clutch when driving slow:i.e. big dump truck, harder to do it quickly. actually, so far on the evo, there hasn't been much difference, will check @ track one day though.

2 things, that I think are wrong with this.
1. There is no way the car he is talking about still has an exaust manifold, almost garanteed to be a header.
2. Exaust manifolds don't have welds, he is again talking about a header, I believe.
Not to mention how ridiculous the comment is ANYWAY. After all, I know how common it is to "blow the welds on a exaust manifold"
