No ACT doesnt supply RRE/RRM They are a authorized dealer for ACT.. but they are not a supplier for clutch materials for our car.. I am pretty good friends with a few of the guys at ACT one of them is pretty high up in the company(head of sponsorships) and he was telling me that if they knew there was a market for it then they will make it.So if you want them to make one for us ( which may be more affordable) then you gotta let them know you are interested. In otherwords Email them or call them and start asking like crazy..Thats what I do.. I talk to them every so often because my Talon and the Kia are going to be sponsored by them soon.. really they are the only Clutch that I have used and that I like. But thats jsut my preference.I like having more options available also..No offense to RRE/RRM because they are a good company and all.. its just I dont like having just one comapny available to chose from.Same with body kits.. I like the accolade kit but I want more options this way if I get something and something I like cetter comes out I havent wasted that money to get something that I didnt really want in the first place or something that was nice at first but something better came along.

Well....if you put it in gear and try to accelerate and you don't seem to be going anywhere or not as quickly as you should be (yet your rpm's still seem to be rising) then thats a good sign. You'll know it if your clutch is done!

best way is through fourth at a dead stop( i learned this from the evo guys) slowly let it out...it the car moves forward along with the RPMs...then your clutch is OK....if all it does it rev then your clutch is gone

if you can't stall the car, then it's probably slipping bad

Do that, then step on the brake slowly to come to a stop without the clutch... if it stalls, thats a good sign things are working right. Even give it a little gas and apply the brake to come to a full stop. If it doesnt stall at the stop, you have a problem. So basically, car in 1st gear with clutch out and at a full stop.... bad.

man, i dunno why the hell you'd even do that... my car hasnt even seen 6000rpm let alone while rolling at 3mph and trying to go into 3rd.

an easy way to tell if the clutch is slipping, get up to a slow cruising speed, toss it into 5th (it should be at a pretty low rev) and put the pedal to the floor, if its going to slip, that would definitely be a time it would be evident.

Clutch abuse is nothing to be proud about. As for having your car for 6 months now, you should be pretty familiar with it. If it drives any different from when the first time you drove it off the lot, then you should question it. If you get fluctuations in revs when you're not stepping on the clutch, that's probably a good sign...

A slipping clutch is not hard to notice. You of all people should know your car better than us here on the board. Give us symptoms and maybe we can help out out...
