used one and have played with it dosent work that well if not tuned right...IMO dont like it

i would suggest getting a RacerDataDisplay R900($179.00) or the RacerDataDisplay R900e($229.00) its alot better connects to the OBDII port and must be configured too...but works better and has alot more features...

if you want specs on it or want to know where to get one let me know...i can tell you more too

where is the obd2 connection in our car? is it the empty plug under the dash just below the steering wheel? maybe a little to the center. looks like a molex connector. 16 pin or something. is that it?

that looks cool... so unlike the gtech where you have to enter vehicle weight and stuff to calibrate the r900 just goes directly into the ecu

What make this product anything like the G-tech pro? G-tech pro with free upgrade to the g-tech rr model, is for a different use than this thing is. I could see if you only wanted 0-60? did i miss somthing from the website?.

you know.. all this does is show you the values the ecu sees from the "stock" sensors.. it doesn't do anything else

you can already get a cable that does this with the palm pilot for way less AND you get data log

gtech pro is a different thing than this

^ heres a review from ClubRSX

but yeah the two are slightly differant. but the 900e will do some thing the gtech will.

you could get a cheepo pda or what ever and then get the PDA dyno thing and datalog with that...but its not the same as the gtech or the 900. even if you datalog what are you really going to do? you cant tune it with the pda dyno because its just reading settings too.

either way. gtech usually gets mixed results. most people say its not worth it

I currently own a g-tech pro with the RR upgrade, after takeing the time to read online and set it up correctly it is very accurate. Most people just want something to plug in and go requiring no reading or setup! thats justnot possible even if you spend $10,000 on data acc. system or a dyno. I 've have a guy that comes into my work with a 2004 ss silverado and he gets results in 1/4 that are dead on and very consistent. He showed me 10 passes @ the strip that were all almost dead on with his time slips. Shows me after inital setup they work excellent? Just my 2 cents though!
