Exclamation How many LP did the DMV send you...?

I finally got my LP, but I only got ONE. The paper said it goes in the back, so I guess I dont have a FLP... ahwell. Is this right? Or did the DMV trip up and forgot to load an extra? Im cool w/ it thou, I like the NON FLP, makes the RA look coooooler

Hm - Last I checked, it's illegal in California to not have front and back license plates. I just registered my RA in California in November (when I bought it) and I got sent both front and back.

I'd like to know the answer to this question as well - is the Front license plate still mandatory?

It might say on your registation. In WA it reads "Front plate required" in the middle of the form.

That's whack man, I got 2 plates, but no tags! I've had the plates for like 2 months now almost and those stupid DMV hacks still haven't sent me my tags, so I'm still plate-less.

FYI... it is still required to have a front license plate... although CA DMV has been receiving alot of phone calls lately in regards to the screw ups in Sacramento... if you only received one license plate... the yahoos in Sacramento screwed up... call your local DMV or better yet, contact the Santa Ana call center so they can route you properly in attaining your license plates and tags... after all... you paid for them

Santa Ana Call Center - 800 777 0133 - that's where most general lines lead to

If not, I would suggest to contact the Registration Processing Unit in Sacramento

you should have gotten two. its illegal to drive around without front plates in california. i did the same thing as twisty and got pulled over on sunset. just a warning though, no ticket. good luck with the front plate if you decide to get it. dmv employees lag like theres no tomorrow.

haha... that statement is not entirely true... granted... there are some departments that slower than others... yet many variables are put into as why there is so much lag between paperwork transactions... for instance... i'm within the repo department here at the CA DMV... it takes an average of about 6 weeks for a lien holder to attain a repossession title... that's because so many things take place in order to issue it.... we have to be certain that all the paperwork is correct, assure that the records from the previous title match... etc. etc... don't get too harsh on us now... except for the personalized plate division.. they take god awful long~! lol
