RRM stainless brake lines
I was just looking on the RRM site and they have SS BRAKE line for the US lancer. Wouldn't these fit the RA? As far as I know the setup should be the same? they are $89. R1concepts sells SS brake lines for the RA and they are $100. Can someone pls confirm or deny RRM's fitment for the RA
Just remember that while SS looks cool, it doesn't guarantee that the lines underneath are going to be good forever. SS lines will last a little longer than rubber ones, but hard lines are the best if you have the time/experience/cash to do it! Remember that SS braided lines need to be checked as often as you would plain rubber ones.

I called RRM today and they have the lines for the RA. $89, I ordered these lines and the Axxis ultimates. Gabe was saying that the rear pads and lines are not nessecary as 70% of the braking is up front. THe SS lines they sell are only for the front. I'll be getting them in 2 weeks. I will install the SS lines right away, but the pads will go on in the summer
Brake fade from is 99% the result of the temperature of the discs. Not the brake lines. Brakes convert movement into heat. When the brakes heat up to a certain point, the brake pad compound begins to vaporize. Pressing vapor against a disc does little to stop it. Different brakelines are primarily to firm up the pedal and make the brake responce crisper and more linear. It WILL NOT stop fade. It will only keep the pedal firm.
The only thing that will stop fade is:
Air ducts to cool the brakes
Venting
Cross drilling
Larger brakes
Better pad
Discs that disipate heat fast (ceramics)
Stop driving
