People please if you calculate the our final drive ratio , the 6500 rpm limit and the tire diameter the top speed shoud be 140.5 mph but again the not so aerodinamic body will keep us below 135 mph.

Im saying 120ish. It was all road and no cars or hosues to be seen. I would like to go 120 in my friends Accura TL but he won't let me lol. Well I wouldn't let him go over 100 in my Evo anyways hehehe.

my cars tach goes to 160mph but fastest ive been is about +/-145mph and after a ECU reflash should beable to hit 15Xmph

For the speed he was doint this is accurate.. but it doesnt disable things we dont have.. We dont have a speedlimiter as we are drag limited and we dont have a rev limiter just a fuel cut off.and thats a 7k so like I said.. I doubt that he did that.AS for the speed.. He might have done what he said he does.

Oh yeah and Mr. "do the math" ... I have been clocked doing over 140... Cop couldnt chase me just flicked the lights on and flicked them off since he was sitting stationary on the side of the road he wouldnt have ever caught me... Plus in PA cops cant chase you if you are over 120. they have a law on that they have to follow.I know a few of them.So somewhere along the lines you got something mixed up.. or you are going on stock info and most of us here are no longer stock.. so therefore, its kinda useless to say something like that. But for those who are still stock then its very usefull in finding out a BS-er.

hey tipo...

do you REALLY THINK the guys at road race are the only ones in the world who modify mitsubishi? so if road race does not sell it it does not exist... i believe not
im not speeking bad about them, i buy from them, but not only from them... the ecu can be altered without plugging a piggyback unit you just need to know how to do it, i dont know how to do it but that is why i pay a tuner...

and please be logical... if your ecu limits the rpm it also limits the speed for no greater speed can be achieved if no rpm is produced, unless ur going downhill...

you think is bs.. ok... you can believe it or not but
i exhort you to come to PR and strap to the passenger side and enjoy
remember boy, after all ...WE down here were the FIRST to put a mitsu on the 7 sec barrier. or do you not know who is team sakura?

Remember guys, just like in Canada, the RA is really popular in Puerto Rico, and there seem to be many speed shops down there that work with the car (such as Turbo Tech). Just seems that none of them want to do business outside of the territory, or are setup to do as such

not that we dont whant to..... we want it but is expensive to go abroad.... we do not do this 'for a living' generally this is a hobby the ones that sell are the inovators

siguel fastest rotary? heard of him? ok we have speed shop but NEVER on the leage as say... edelbrock jegs get the picture...?

see; this the cultural problem of you -as a culture- you are insolated you dont inovate
is like mr blaze... he wont believe until he experience it....

the ra is a great peace of machinery w a lot of potential.....
enjoy them and be creative

Hey guys c'mon now, I think alot of people are getting confused because others are posting there EVO VIII"S top speed in the RALLIART thread, if you're talking about your evo be sure to let us RA owners know so we dont call BS on you cause we think you'r talking about a freaking ralliart.
