Nitrous Track Results

I came, I sprayed, I kicked its ***.

Made 5 passes in total down the strip. I'm so sorry guys I couldn't get vids, there were extenuating circumstances that couldnt be avoided but here are the results:

First run:

Ralliart vs. Spec-V
15.1@97.64mph 14.9@92.29
-- spun first and bogged in second. Got my *** whooped. BUT, notice the mph ;-)

Second run:

Ralliart vs. Mustang GT
15.1@96.71 15.3@96.96
-- spun first again, still beat the GT's *** tho lol. That felt gooood. Look on
dude's face was like omg wtf.

Third run:

Ralliart vs. Spec-V (same one)
14.6@98.81mph 14.916@92.33mph
-- got a little better launch on this one, finally handed some spec-v ***. biatch.

Fourth run:

Ralliart vs. Integra
14.4@99.35mph 14.9@95.31mph
-- pulled a 2.293 60' and hit the button a second or two earlier. Acura what? lol.

OK, at this point I'm like oh well wtf, so I go get the bottle topped off, it was only 2.5 lbs light ( I had been playing on the highway on the way to the strip)

I got the bottle as warm as I could and went ***** to the walls for one last pass.....

Fifth run:

Ralliart vs. SRT-4 (spraying and modded)
14.394@98.93mph!! 12.7@112.50
-- YEA I got spanked but that was the best run of the day. Pulled my best
60' on this one of 2.271.

I was spraying a dry 50whp shot. I put 4 gallons of premium fuel and a bottle of +3 octane booster. The car was completely stock and full interior. Stock tires w/ 22psi in front. Spare tire and jack removed. A hollow air filter in the stock airbox (I bought a cheap air filter and gutted it).

Now I will begin the modding process. I am going to install the fuel solenoid and spray a wet 75 shot next. Intake, exhaust, and drag radials. I expect to be in mid-high 13s.

If anyone wants to see slips with detailed information let me know I'll scan and post them.

Post the time slips (Like you even need to ask). 14.4 is great. With a little more practice I bet you will be running 14 flat. Nice job!

I think I know what that face looks like. I once beet a Nissan 300zx (the n/a 222 hp version). He looked like he didn't know if he should sell his car or **** his pants. I was a little surprised too untill I went home and looked it up on the internet. They run mid 15 in the 1/4 mile too.

seriously, a wet shot is all you should really ever do IMO. If possible use an RPM Limit Switch in conjunction with your Wide Open Throttle switch. Another safety precaution you could use is running an independent fuel cell, pump and pressure regulator for the fuel portion of your wet shot. Way to go on the strip, can you get LSDs for the Ralliart? If so that and an exhaust will help your N2O dreams come true.

Damn, congrats on the 14.4, and you're almost to 100mph!

I love seeing what our car is capable of Now get yourself a downpipe, intake, and LSD and go for 13's!

Nice runs...nothing like beating mustang no matter what model.

Crimson there is a LSD out for the RA damn expensive but I guess it would be worth it.

Hm, I thought using NOS would cut the times down by a lot more, but congrats regardless

Some sticky tires, traction and a sub (or even a 2.0 on a perfect run) and you're in the 13's. That mph is certainly good enough for it, congrats!

Yea 99.35 MPH was my best trap speed. I really wanted to get 100. I know it can do it, I'd just have to hit the button in first gear and take chance on missing second. Progress will continue, *** will be handed out accordingly.

those are decent times for that 2.2 60" some good tires and you'll be hitting some real good times

Right on! See nitrous doesn't make your RA go "boooom"! Just think about how much money you saved from a turbo and a LSD doesn't seem too bad. Has anyone looked into a Phantom grip for our cars? Perfect for part time evo power... Maybe I should try for those personalized plates: PT EVO..... Nah, just make the cops ask what it means. Congrats on the low 14's. Good set of rubber and you should be 14 flat or high 13's. Just be careful with the octane boosters. 3 points is NOT 3 octane points. It takes 10 points to raise it a full octane point.

If you had your button either on your steering wheel or on your shifter I'm sure it would help too. I don't like the joy stick on a phone cord thing.
