You can get them in aluminum too. They look pretty nice though. Nice engine dress up piece.

i asked that same question. they look very similar in the radiator area. should fit. also on the ralliart site they sell on of those and under cars it has the evo8 and ralliart so it should fit.

yeah that's a cool idea, the swap idea i mean. there's lots of those slam panels (actual name) for the evo's, so it would be cool if they fit our RA's too. Cusco makes super nice ones, expensive of course, but damn.

So who's gonna give it a try. If it doesn't fit you can always sell to a local evo guy. I would do it....but we don't have local evo guys here...hehe

It looks REAL close. I just matched up MOST of the holes. But, the only thing you can't tell from the pic is the size of the holes.
So far here's what I have.
Botom 4 holes match up w/ the 4 push pins for the grill inserts. I've managed to line up a couple of the rad mounts w/ the shroud holes too....SOOOO...it looks like it COULD work.

So someone try it now! hehe

i dunno man, i was just looking at a pic of my engine bay and comparing it to a picture of an evo slam panel, and the holes and angles look lots different to me. the evo one looks like it has a sloped front on it, where as ours doesn't look like it has that. kinda hard to tell tho from a 2d picture.

the swap idea is prolly the best one to see if it fits. up here i can't exactly do that tho, so someone down there would have to try that.

I believe the slop is to allow for it to clear the rad hose and for it to sit ontop of the rad mounting points (those two rubber things). Thats what it looks like. Unfortunately, we won't really know untill someone gets back to us. I've emailed the guys at WORKS to see if they know. I am pretty sure that Carbon Trix doesn't make one (I just checked) but MAYBE Boe or Rock would know. They do have both the RA and a Evo in the shop.

yeah that would be cool if they checked for us. there are so many of those to choose from, there's even a Ralliart one in the Evo catalogue from the uk that you can order. it's really nice, anodized red, but it's a different red than our strut bar, so not sure that i'd get that one.
