ya ditto, but i plan to get a turbo by the end of the summer, but i do want the exhaust by the time summer starts???? maybe i'll just get the 2.5 exhaust and use that with the turbo i like jason's set-up with his exhaust and sounds sweet.i'll have to find out exactly what he got from vrs. i also plan on gettin the downpipe from rrm only prob is rrm downpipe is 2.25 so i'll have to make it go .25 bigger i guess. back pressure is that high end or low end???

0_lancer_4 just did his first 1/4 mile pass /w the 3" and no turbo last night. He hit a 15.6 with it, and its the first time he ever tried. So 3"doesnt really rob much, if anything, on the 1/4. He was hitting 2.3second 60 foot's. Thats much better than I or anyone else I've taken in an RA has done on their first run at the track!

The car feels a bit different. Your torque does seem to peak a bit further in the powerband, but it peaks higher. and the HP seems to keep up further. Longer, higher powerband! I just nailed a really impressive 1/4 time last night with mine. I didnt shift until about 7k rpm's and had power all the way up

if the VRS exhaust bolts up to the stock flanges you won't need anything other than the RRM downpipe it fits fine.... but if you go turbo the Tubo DP is 3".

This sounds like a really good setup. You got options and it sounds like a couple of them. Did i read it right, you said you got a o2 sensor bung already on the piping so no need to do the CEL fix when you got the RRM downpipe? If that's right all i want to know is how much is shipping and handling or will they ship it to you? I did not see any mention of that on the thread

I'm almost 100% sure that no matter what, you'll need the O2 sensor fix... Because you're deleting a catalytic converter. now if you had a High flow Cat welded on it might be a different story but....

Jason,

Are you waiting for a 4:1 header and a 1-1 Dp or are you gonna grab the RRM DP?

whatever you do record it cuz i wouldn't mind knowing how it sounds.

ya, im holding off on the DP for now. waiting to see what happens with an aftermarket header (if anything). I guess kamakazi should have one soon.

and yea, if you get the RRM downpipe /w this catback, you will still throw the CEL. There are 2 bungs: 1 before the cat and one after. but if theres no cat, they read the same and trigger the CEL caus it thinks the cat failed.

Kamikaze already makes one, call them, some assembly required.

When i spoke to them... they Made a header, but.... you need a "connection Kit" it doesn't meet straight up so you need their parts to get it to fit?

Why not just make the damn thing connects like legos?!?!?!

I'm assuming the custom piece would need to be a 1-into-2, if you're using the RRM DP.

current setup is header 4-2 and dp 2-1 ... so the rrm dp is should be a 2-1
