VRS Exhaust Ralliart Catbacks!!!
ya, the RRM DP is a 2-1: 2 runs out of the header, to 1 run to meet the catback. its a direct fit to the OEM catback, and this is a direct replacement for the OEM catback (just bigger and higher quality).
I meant if you get the Kamikaze header. Isn't it a 4-1? Then it needs to attach to the DP, which is 2:1. So you'd need a 2" long 1:2 piece for them to match up. OR, am I missing something here.
I don't quite understand the mechanics of how one is built to be shipped vs. built to be installed... requires some sort of jig I guess. I think I can hold onto my Magnaflow for another few weeks while they finish up the procedure.
the bends are automated. they feed in a section of tubing, enter the car code and press a shiney red button, then 5 mins later, they have all the tubing cut to perfect size and bent flawlessly. they need to make the jig to let the machine do that

why is that? ive got my invoice and i dont think the jig is done yet as they said it would still be about a week till they got it made i think. anyways i asked for the magnaflow #14821.
ok cool, just wanted to make sure u didnt talk to someone who didnt know whats going on /w this =) looks like ur straight. keep us updated.
BTW, i got it dyno'd afterwards. no peak real gains, but some impressive duration gains. I gained about 1-2 HP, lost about 1-2 tq, but my powerband is peaked MUCH longer now. that means you accelerate faster longer. you can really tell on the highway =) here is a crappy picture

Not saying anything is going on, but I would conduct my business over the phone at this point.
