Limiter delete

I just found out today, but it has been for the longest. A automobile computer electronics store is modifying RA computer to rev up to 10 k RPM, and installing a fuel controller to activate as the car reaches 5,200 RPM...the efect of the "controller" is a surge in fuel and spark when the car reaches the above mentioned RPM. I know better cuz I have it done in my Mirage. The RPM gig is just for gimmick unless you can get your hands on a cam...that and that it sounds so awesome to rev to 8k.

But just to inform though. I called just to see if they had something else and they told me about the ECU "MOD"

I have it in the other car and its pretty nice when it pulls like some other kind of V V T do explode on the cam

I can't see a simple "mod" to the ecu being safe enough to try and rev your car past 6850 (fuel cut)....let alone 8k!!

I know our internals are strong but c'mon....its not high enough compression for that kind of thing.

The mod wont give you any power after 7000 rpm on the stock cam. It will add power after 5,200 RPM

Anyways the only Electronic mod I may do is the RRM piggy back. If I get my hand on another ECU I might just try it and post reviews

yeah, I was pretty sure that shifting at 6.1k was optimal anyway.

CoolMivec you sound a hell lot like LancerGrisTurbo...For the guys here that dont know, he had the fastest Lancer OZ...hitting as low as 12.1 the last time I saw it

I will compare the piggy back AND the ECU... just let some one post a RA ecu on ebay
so i can mod it and use the piggy back on the other

yeah kreepaevox, i know the guy youre talking about, but he crashed that car , and it was a total loss but the car was an oz and it was really fast,i sawit in a solo 1 circuit race 1 time giving a headache to the driver of a porche 911 turbo , so that car can handle too. i think that guy have now a better car ,a brand new LANCER RALLIART BUAJAJAJAJAJA .AND FOR THE ECU THING ,ITS BETTER AND SAFER THAT WAY ,take care friend

so your saying, you guys released a better RA ECU in PR, than the one we have in the states - RRM Piggyback?

You should call it "MitsuData"

Hahaha . Its just a fuel moduleits cool and all, but I rather go safer with the piggyback. Its just so damn expensive though... but I guess that money goes for future research

i want details. what does this new 'ecu' actually do? manage fuel supply directly on the injectors, through MAF sensor or modify injection timing? its also a 'piggyback' as well, right?
