I'm really tired of sentra people saying we try to make our RAs look like EVOs. This is one of those times where people need to look at themselves before they speak. I mean look:

people /w all cars are copying the evo style. you see an 'evo style CF hood' or 'evo style spoiler' for just about every car on the market to day. the evo DOES have style and everyone tries to mimic it, even alot of lame sentras (and believe me, they need it!). just because we share the base lancer name, we get pointed at first, i guess. hell, there are more 'evo' style parts available for the civics than there are for the ralliarts! i mean, u dont see any 'impreza style' anythings available. its an equally fast car, but just flat out lacks style.

anyway, the evo style wasnt enspired for aesthetic reasons. its all functional. and those aspects can be caried over to other cars (IE: the RRM evo-style hood made to feed air into the RRM ralliart turbo) or they can just be visual mockups. if its done for a performance reason and it works, i dont see whats wrong with doing something that works....

blk-majik you make a very good point, there are a lot of evo style parts for other cars, even more so than for RA.

Also, I saw something that I thought was kinda "sad" and funny at the same time.....well take a look.
Here's what would happen if EVO8 and STI got togather and had kids

The Ralliart is also seting on a volvo chassis and has more saftey features like crunch points and foam baffles in the doors than the other cars in that post.

Volvo chassis? Do you have proof to back that up? That's the first time I've ever heard of that.

You're going to have to back that up, otherwise I'm calling BS. Volvos do not get 2 star safety ratings. Also, it doesn't make sense for a Mitsubishi, which is associated with Chrysler, to use a chassis from a Ford-owned company.
