At least there are posters in that forum who hold an unbiased opinion about the car and its competitors.

I think we're always going to be fighting an up-hill battle against the SE-R crowd, though. It just is unfortunate when people who only know about the car based on what they read on their Nissan forums go out and bash the Ralliart, never have driven it or anything.

I know the Spec-V is a quick car. In some cases, possibly quicker than the Ralliart. I also know that in terms of fit and finish, and overall construction, it pales in comparison to the Ralliart. But I don't run around screaming that to the world, either. I guess we, in stark contrast to the Spec-V community, don't think we have to prove that our cars are great to the outside world. We already know we've got a great car.

Ralliart looks 10x better, so who cares? It's like the STi vs Evo stuff... doesn't matter which slightly out performs the other, the Evo looks better, so I don't care

That thread wasn't so bad. Majority of the people were pretty open minded.

I love the fact that not very many people know much about the RA. Makes it kinda like a sleeper. Ppl underestimate our cars abilities then learn what they can do the hard way I love it, especially sence i recently stripped my emblems.

i also like the fact that people dont know how fast my RA will kick their teeth in.

and that hypnoz guy is a toolbox :P

quote"Honestly, i'd take nearly any other car in it's price range."

I would be glad to race him with ANY other car in it's price range.. and maybe even a few out of its range .. hehe

bottom line. the RA is in NO way a slow car

The only thing that has ever beaten my car, is that hail storm a few nights ago

The economy of the country has little to do with it's labor work quality, since in "third world nations" unemployment is usually higher, workers have to be more careful to keep his job bc there are many others waiting for a chance to take their places. Culture is indeed a mayor issue, like in Japan, where workers go on strike by producing more and therefor dropping product prices. Japan's quality is unquestionable.

Even between third world nations there are differences, I'll take a car made in México over one made in Bazil any day, ask any Nissan or VW guy.

The SVT Focus was a pretty nice car for what it was IMO. It handled very nicely, better than the RA I think and other than the lack of low end torque I could find very little wrong with it. I'd take that car over a SRT-4 anyday.

I think that people "on the outside looking in" talking about Ralliart will always just look at us as the Evo's slow little brother...
In all honesty out of all the on-line communities it seems like the Ralliart's are totally content with what they are...
I mean we don't have to get defensive and say we can take down every challenger we know what we got, we know it's good & that's all there is to it!!!

Hey man, watch your comments!!! it doesn't matter where is built, is the design and engineering of the car.

I really don't care what others (those who have never driven a ralliart) say about the RA. I know what our RAs can do and that's all that matters. The way I see it, if there are more people buying the competition then there will be cars for us to race and beat. I just love seeing those faces: first they go then and then . Then they'll wish they had test drove the RA. Mitsubishi RULES
