Ralliart Vs. 87 Supra
I used to drive an 88 Supra turbo, and stock I was running high 14's modded I was running high 12's. But the supra, even though it's a 2 door is bloody heavy, it's 500lbs heavier than the ralliart, and with no turbo it runs a low 16 second 1/4 mile, you'll blow it away.

well its not like it matters anymore anyways...haha...he came to my house today to give me a ride and it was SLOW! not to hate...but then we were sitting there trying to figure out how to put a cd player in my car becuase of that stupid amp (if u know how PLEASE PM me!!!) and we hear this pshhhhhhh and smoke just started shooting out of his hood. he blew like half his cooling lines. so then we spent the rest of the night fixing that and we found like what seemed like an infinant amount of junk wrong with it...so i don't think i'll be racing him anytime soon. darn...but thanks for all the support...i still need to get better on my starts though haha, i'll let you know if somehow he fixes it all real fast. but again...STEREO! WIRING HARNESS! AMP! HELP!
For those of you talking about gutting the interior... I believe that every 100 lbs is a tenth of the quarter mile time... I can't say how much our interior ways but everything seems pretty light... still if you gut everything you might cut like 3 tenths off, which is quite a bit in serious racing
Don't do ANY makeshift mods, just wait until you have the money to do it right. Stock Non-Turbo 88 Supras run a 16 1/4 (brand new), and I can garuantee he doesn't have the same hp that the car had when it was new.
You will hand him his a$$!! Unless you're a horrible driver : )

if you wanna practice launching..lower you tire pressure down to about 25 psi..after that launch around 2500 to 3000 rpms...i usually launch at about 2700..u shouldnt light up your tires..you'll spin them a little bit but you'll grip right away. oh and if your really going to race on the track..make sure you have a good reaction time!
haha...i plan on going out there anyways and just having some fun...just because i can! i wont even get to race him now... he went and took the car back to the owner using that whole 72 hr. buyers remorse crap. if i was the dude i would be pissed if some 16 yr. old bought my car, trashed the engine, then made me buy it back..oh well...now he's looking at a 300 ZX...those are pretty nice...

haha...i didn't know about it either but i guess its there because the guy took it back. i was telling one of my teachers about it and she said she's done it too before. in some ways i guess its good but its gotta suck in some cases too. i really wouldn't even call that buyers remose...i'de call it im an idiot and screwed up the car so i dont want it anymore
