Rear Strut Bar or Sway bar?

I'm just looking for an overview of the difference between the two from RRM, the pros and cons, which is more effective (if they serve the same purpose), ect ect..

Oh, i did do a search, i just couldnt find what i was looking for, please don't flame me.

Thanks for your help!

The sway bar will give you the most noticable difference. After that, a strut and/or tie bar will make it even better.

Sway bar + perches, then strut bar, then tie bar. Most effective to least effective. Every bit helps though.

What exactly do the perches do? Do you need them for the install, or do they simply improve the effectiveness of the sway bar?

You can use the stock perches to install the RRM/Progress swaybar, but they're not as strong as the aftermarket ones.

Yeah the sway bar is the single most cost effective mod ive done to my car. Playing around with the suspension makes the car SOOOOO much more fun.

the perches that come stock with the car tends to crack or snap when u upgrade to the RRM sway bar. the stronger perches that RRM has will obviously hinder that problem..cause they are stronger!

There are two people here on the boards who bought them without the perches. They said they still work great.

Well, I don't have the Teins, so I didn't include those.

I'd think that the stock perches would be just fine unless under GREAT stress...
However when I get my sway bar, I'm going w/ the strong perches!!!
