I created a grill

I made this behind the factory grill because I thought it would give the grill more contrast if you were standing in front of it. The intake was just a quick idea but I liked it so it stayed.

I was at wal mart and I seen a paint roller stainer made out of the expaned metal. So I bought went outside to see if there was enough to cut it out of and luckly there was. So i bought two cut em up painted red slung em in and it worked out. I was out 1.96 on each of the strainers so this grill cost me like 8.00 paint and all. Which I thought was fairly cheap.

It's interesting. I bet from further away it looks a lot better. When you are up close like that all I can really pay attention to is the intricacies of the grills. I think the red is a good contrast to the black of the car.

I saw another RA during the winter around here that had something similar to yours. They didn't put a seperate grill behind the stock one though. They just painted the stock one red. I've also seen the stock grill blue. Blue looked tacky and the red was ok, but your idea is better than both.

I did the exact same thing last year when I got my car...
I painted the grill RED like my car and I put silver mesh behind it.

looks awesome.
