ok I am gettin raceing seats and they have to be solid red in colour and cheap and wicked quality!! and i have narrowed my findings to 2 brands. ok still with me. ok, good just checking. and they are the:

TENZO Type-R Racing Seats - Solid Red
and
AROSPEED GT Limited Racing Seats - Solid Red

i would like to order them by next week. they are the same price and everything. i just want your guys opioion on the brand or the seat or if you ever sat in one or you like better than the other. you know what i am askin for right. soo yeah thanks guys!!!!!

they look damn near identical. I would go with which ever is more confortable if you can find that out.

BTW, how much are those?

 

I like the one on the bottom, but that's only going purely by looks.... Before you put them in weigh them and when you take your stockers out, can you weigh those to please.

 

I would go with the ones below.. reason being .. I sat on some tenzo's before ... blkralliart04 on this board has some.... and they are a ***** to get out of. The side flaps on the bottom side of the seat make them buckets more then they are seats.. if you like that ... then tenzo's is what you want... but like I said, I like the ones on the bottom. Good luck and post some pics when your done... I also want to get racing seats in the near future.

Rotty, those arent the ones i have, those are the evolution style and i have the tenzo rally style. But i DID have those evolutions on my last car, they were alright but made me sit up a lot higher. Its pretty easy for me to get in and out with my seats, because i just grab onto the steering wheel when getting out. As for passengers, they arent going to like them more than likely. They are TRUE bucket seats, and they DEFINITELY hold you in. If you are going with the tenzos, dont get that seat, get their evo style, considering i have owned both, the rally was definitely a lot better. These are also beneficial if you are tall and you feel like a giant on your stock seats, these will definitely make you sit lower.

 

Both look nice, I'd go with black.. BTW, check mine out..



Edit: Oh yea, make sure you get the custom lancer floor mount brakets, or else they won't go in.. trust me. You also need slider brackets for those seats, which they probably come with. Use grade 8 bolts to hold those to the seat and bracket. Its the safest in an accident.

 

those look like they have no padding at all.

 

the prices are the same 400 and 350 and they weigh about the same i read it somewhere but i dont know the excate number..

but to BLKralliArt04 I WOULD LOVE to get the rally style but you have and you know i wanna go something differnt and like try other things to make other poeple try others too you know what i mean. but yeah I have no idea...... such a hard decision. yeah they do look a like if you looke at them. but i am asking name brand....... like if you guys have had bad experiences with the company or good stuff you know.... thanks again for all whole helped out so far!!!!

 

I too like the 2nd ones, in BLACK!!! Not to sure about red though...

 

Oh cmon, its not like we are neighbors or anything, you dont have to go different, go for the rally seats, in all honesty, those evolutions are like rocks, but they hold you in really good. The side bolsters are so firm, but make for an uncomfortable ride (The evolution seats). Trust me, youd love the evo style seats. Unless you are a 300 lb lard a$$. The rally style is a little more costly, but in the end, its better to spend the LITTLE extra money or else your butt is gonna hurt after long trips.

Oh, and wiretap, how much lower did those seats put you to the floorboard? Mine made me feel like I was normal again, rather than feeling like I was looking OVER people in other cars with how high i was on stock seats. The seats themselves look cool, but dont you hate having to strap in those harnesses every time you get in? Other than that they look very nice.
