Power Sunroof?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if the Power Sunroof thats in the S&S Package has a tilt function, or if it only opens to the inside? What are your thoughts on the sunroof and the S&S package in general?

Thanks

It does tilt. Didn't think I'd like a sunroof but I use it more than I thought. It's not loud at all with it open and very low wind too.

As far as the Sound part of the package, I replaced the deck the first week I had my car. I've since replaced the door speakers and took out the sub and put in 2 10" subs behind the seats. Sounds much better but the stock system did sound decent.

1. Sunroof tilts....is very smooth inline. I like it.
2. Stereo does not read MP3's, and I don't have a CD Changer with my S&S (think it was an option for in dash 6-disc).
3. The head unit install in these cars is cake. All you need is a MITAH adaptor, a wire harness, and wire nuts for connecting the harness to the head unit. If you can read a wire schematic, install will take you about 1/2 hour (depending on experience). Amps and subs are a different story. For a clean install and depending on what you want to do, this can take all day, maybe even a weekend if you get fancy.

I like the sunroof. I hardly ever close it, always leaving it in the tilt position. It's great for venting with low noise. I never fully retract it though because the sun will just beat down on you. About the stock stereo... not bad. Really. I did however fully replace the system because I wanted an MP3 deck + Sirius.

on the 04's , the cd changer comes as an option , in the 05's , the S&S package includes a 6 cd changer that goes where that cubby hole is ...... so you can put a total of 7 cds in .... awesome !!!! well i like it....

Yeah I enjoy my 7 CDs too, but I really wish that the sunroof would tilt a little bit higher. I mean it's fine the way it is... but just a LITTLE more tilt,

It does have tilt. The sunroof is really nice on the RA.
The S&S is really good. For stock, the sound system is pretty good.

Mine was doing that a couple months ago. I retracted it all the way, and cleaned the edges of the hole it fits in, and then tilted it and cleaned the rubber seal. Then I put some silicone grease on it, and wiped off the excess. Hasn't stuck since.
