When I took my car in for its 15k service a week ago the sun roof would tilt but not open. When they dealer checked it they said it opened just fine, and sure enough when I got the car back it did. It was so disgustingly dirty before they washed it (especially after being shipped cross country) that I can believe it was sticking on all the dirt/crap!

I guess it's the sunroof's way of saying to keep your car nice and clean for those sunny days Being dark/cloudy out can make a dirty silver car look kinda clean, but not even silver looks clean in sunlight unless it really is!

My sunroof used to open a few inches and get stuck sometimes. After a while I noticed that it was hitting the roof when trying to go under it to slide out of the way. I put a bar under the roof and leveraged it up a bit and the sunroof never got stuck again.
