The beast was slained

Well driving to work in new years day @ 11:45pm the car started to sputter losing power, turn on but every time I press the gas pedal it lose power & turned off. After a few attempts the car caught on fire. I knock on a neighbor door he got out his garden hose but it did get to the car, once I had enough hose I got in to pop the hood but it looked like the cable had melted with the fire so there was nothing I could do.

Really feel for you, man...

In pic 2, is that black pile of rubble beside the intake pipe a battery that exploded/melted?

Whats your next move? Is there insurance?

The verdict is due to the car sitting in the garage for 5 yrs, the fuel line dry rotted.

Is it just the clutch disc, or is it the whole kit? and is it sprung or solid?

So it's Christmas eve, driving home after a long day at work, when suddenly:

A wild Ford cargo van cuts accross 3 lanes of traffic, this is the result of hitting it's rear metal bumper
Speed was barely 45km\h and the van did a 180 into a snowbank, only visible damage (besides it's numerous kinks all over) was a slight dent on the bumper.

It was a long and cold winter, took well over 2 months to get her back, but well worth the wait
