Already posted this in OT, but figured some of you would like to see. If you've ever watched a snow plow speeding down the freeway, flinging ice/snow/slush off the side of the road and wondered "what happens to the cars below when that gets flung off a bridge?" Here ya go.

Happened yesterday, new windshield was just put in this afternoon.

awww sucks to have something like that happen
things that you just cant look out for no matter how safely you drive

on a seperate note
some dumb@ss ran a red light and took out my front driver's side....
that resulted to a month in the body shop which has pretty crappy service/skill... which i didnt know about as it was my first time dealing with them
so i now have my car back but with a ton of small issues that are still waiting to be sorted out

Ahh finally evolutionm allows me to post!

Yup this failure to drive is mine. Thought it'd be fun to skate with the car but I guess it wasn't a very good idea. Buy winter tires kids!! I hit the corner of the sign square with my hood. I went under it and flipped on over and slammed my spoiler and trunk.

My brother told me this was posted on the Mitsubishi Car Club of Canada forums. I tried to register but I guess they dont like Gmail accounts.

Oh well, the body shop was really good to me. They even hooked me up with an evo wing! Screwed up my badges though, but I think I'm starting to like where they are.

I bought snow tires this year.... didn't want a repaeat of last year took me 2 hours to get home...normally only 40 minutes.

Blizzak LM-25's are good as long as the snow isn't to deep.

Happened a week before Christmas.....

Was making a fast left turn (wet roads mind you). Didn't have snow/winter tires on yet. Had to dodge a lady in a nissan who decided she wanted to magically make an oncoming lane change and was headed for my car (i still don't understand what she was doing or why). I cut hard right, lost control, and tried to compensate. To late, was already sliding. I'm not sure how but I steered the car to take a glancing (but hard) blow to a tree just off the road. Tore back my front right pannel, shoved the wheel back into the wheel well and ripped all kinds of hoses and stuff off on the right side. Luckily no frame damage and all was covered under insurance. The lady just drove off!!! Wasn't given a ticket thankfully . Cost to fix everything was $7k. Glad my deductible is low. Car drives like brand new though now because basically that whole front end is brand new now. Even had to replace the front bumper so now no more rock nicks and what not. Always try to look at the bright side.

Oh well, end of february of 2007 monday night. I was going to college to take a class. It was like 8:00 PM, I'm doing like 50mph on the freeway with nice weather so my windows are rolled down and my sunroof open. Suddenly a white pickup truck in front of me hits a cow, yes a COW, and sends it flying to the left lane(who knew, my lane) and I hit the dam cow, break every part of my drivetrain, front suspension, rear suspension, etc. Lost total control of the vehicle, and guess what? I stopped with the truck that first hit the cow! I was so pissed off!!!!! Good news is that the cattle farm owner's insurance payed everything!! $12,785 repair costs. Here are the pictures: Enjoy!

okay, a week after i got my 04', I had to have open heart surgery. So I drive up to the hospital park in handicapped and go to get my operation. I come out a week later and there IS A HUGE ****ING GASH Down my passengers side front door all the way to the back quarter panel! I call my insurance and get it fixed.

Three weeks after that I'm at the Grocery store minding my own business driving down a lane and a guy in a SUV was driving against the parking lanes nails me and DRIVES OFF!!! So now I have 3 grand worth of damage to my back end.
I cried.

Thank goodness i have good insurance.

This is a three year old picture of my wifes car. I was able to find her another new car and she still has it.
