I know this isn't exactly related to the thread BUT, as I said in my last post...I finally got a new lancer as of today. I managed to find an 03 EVO 8 in great condition. As promised, I have rejoined the lancer ranks!

 

Anyone wreck their RA and want to buy an 05 GG 5spd on the cheap? My car is for sale. Tried to trade it in this weekend but the dealer was playing games. Offer still stands. $12,500 with stockers, $12900 with these aftermarket rims.

I was driving home and this idiot wouldnt let me merge into his lane. when I looked ahead There was a rock. I hit it with my front right tire. Blew it and bent the rim out of shape. Bend the control arm, tie rod end and the strut.
1250 Later.. my car still pulls to the right after the alignment.
but at least its "fixed"

 

i park my car on the street during the times my dad is supposed to be home when i have the day off. this kid that just moved in has a dodge dooley and doesnt know how to drive it....well he does....as long as its into my rear door

 

Maybe it's because I'm really tired, but when I read that part I broke out laughing. Looks and sounds too much like doody.

I was paying my gas today. By mistake I think I hit the remote start botton on my alarm key. When I came out I didn't see my car. I thought someone stoled it. My 2 way start making a chirp sound I was like yes they hit the break & the car turned off. I'm looking every where. I saw my car on a fence.
It hit a 1G eclipes Just a little dent on his door & scratches. My RA Big scratch on front bumper. It is a busy intercetion the cop said I was lucky.

My car hit the Eclipse door But nothing Bad. My front right hand side bumper has scratches. Eclipse Door a small dent & scratches. You know the body shop will run up the price ( Replace door, Ect.) There going to pull the dent out from inside & repaint.

 

I put it in first gear to see what happen While I was inside the car Hit the button The car was going 5 MPH max. So thats why there wasn't that much damage.

I was lucky, it could have been worst. And I just payed off the car last week. If ins goes up I'll put lability on cov.

 

on 2/16/07 i was t-boned and hit a big *** cement pole at a intersection on my way to work so no more ralliart it was a total loss and all the part i put on the car had to stay on it tow company said that my ins gave them the car and it no longer was the owner lost my rrm c.a.i, rrm piggy,rrm ud pully, rrm cf eye lids,rrm strut tower bar, catback and my springs also my cd player and sirus radio

My 06 ralliart was officially written off in January and Im STILL working on a settlement with the insurance company that doesn't suck.

Its a sad time for me, as it would be for anyone here in the same situation. I loved that car so much. On the bright side, I will be acquiring a new 08 lancer GTS in the near future

Anyone else in the market for the 08's, god they are nice!
