Are you sure? I really doesn't look that bad. Replace the driver's rear suspension, some minor body and paint work, and some elbow grease on the interior and it's good to go.

Luckily I had good insurance.

You made it 8500 kms? I got rear ended in my first car the morning after I got my license while waiting for my turn at a stop sign.

By the time the car will be finished there will probably be more money into parts and labor then the car is actually worth. So the insurance company probably totaled it out. But it seems the car is at his house, most often the car is towed to a salvage yard right away.

I'm sure it worth less then 10k$. Look at my pics. The damage on my RA were evaluated over 18k and I still had to argue with my (not anymore) insurance company to totaled my car. The damage have to worth something like 75% of the car's value to totaled a car.

well here mine deal 2 weeks after my kit gos on my car
im drivign down marival in ottawa if any has driven down that road saturay they know what i mean traffic was going about 60 i comme up to a green light the gurl in front of my slams on the breacks hard cuz some guy cut her off by the time i noticed bam smashed teh front en of my baby in no air bags deployd so it can be riten off the hood is smashed in the front bumper was riped off head lights a broken intake is dented rads folded but the motor is still fine
the bad part is the gurl was so sexy when she got out of the car i couldnt stay mad that is until i when to the front of her car and noticed she had recently been in another accident of the same sort so she jsut panic the car was eaven close to her
so baby lancer ralliart that i only had for 8 months and spent 10000 dollar on it

this isnt bad but today coming home i decided to park in the driveway cause it started snowing. little did i know my parents had their trailer hitch on....yeah....about a 1 inch by 1/2 inch ding in my front bumper....luckily its not metal so i dont have to worry about rust but....it blows either way
