So instead of a loud exhause ticket which would have costed $150, you decided to run and then get in an accident that is now costing $3000. Great decision. If you dont want another ticket, get rid of the exhaust. if not deal with it.

Anyhow sorry to hear about the accident

Hmmm $3000 vs. a negotiable loud muffler ticket. Think twice, lesson learned.

Next time they try to give you a ticket for loud muffler, tell them it's not illegal unless it's over 90 d/b. At least that's how it is in Nebraska. Check your local laws and make them do a sound test to prove it's over the limit.

This sounds like an episode of "Wildest Police Videos: Stupid Drivers Edition".

I was makinga generalization about the ticket. An allowance for the highest state. In va it is around 50. Still I cant believe his logic....trying to run from a cop. I wonder if he knows a speeding ticket is more than an exhaust ticket.

well i can understand trying to get out of a ticket, as long as the cop didnt have his lights on yet. but i wouldnt push it so much that i run into a curb.

anyway, good thing you have insurance....poor RA looks very sad sitting on the ground....i think those eyelids add to the effect. haha

damb!!!! how big was that curb ? you must of been flying !

id hate to think that a little bumb on the curb can do all that damage.

anyway , i think thats like 3-5 pionts , i would try to fight it in court, you could have the prosecutor get it drop to lesser charge that wont put points on your licence, somthing like improper use of vehicle. ther will still be a fine but you licence will remain clean.

I don't know which is more idiotic. You behind the wheel of ANY motor vehicle, or the fact that you thought to post the story on here.
