Newbs... Please read newb thread...

Newbs... welcome... it seems that there has recently been a big spike in new members... We appreciate your enthusiasm but please read the newb thread before posting... repeat questions (and some rediculous ones) have been cluttering the forum... you will catch some grief from people that have been here for a while if you do not use the search function and the newb thread...

I agree with this and would like to add these few chosen words:

The use of logic is highly encouraged when starting threads and posting questions... and the lack of the aforementioned faculty will most of the time result in people making fun of you.

Good examples of questions you should refrain from asking on this board (the RA forum) read as follow:

- Do you guys think I should by an OZ or an EVO?

- Do you guys think that an RA with a hood scoop and a leaf blower hooked up to the intake can outhandle the EVO?

- Hey there guys... errr, I was just wondering what the difference is between the rallyHart and the EVO...

So PLEASE READ THE NEWB THREAD FIRST! We still refer to it ourselves on a regular basis and it's still updated as soon as anyone as anything to contribute.

And finally, note that this community as always welcomed Lancer enthusiasts who took the necessary time to learn about the car and who contribued in a respectful and logical way to the forum. On the other hand, people who didn't care for these basic principles have been know to stay for only a matter of days though... and that's mostly true for most forums on the net. Mental lazyness has never been known to make you very popular anyway...

That being said, welcome to all new members. May we be of assistance to you so that you may in turn contribute to the collective knowledge available herein.

Lancers rule!

EDIT: See my sig for examples of members who did not make it into the list of Most Popular Members Awards nominees.

As much as many of us dislike that word, it is the only word that can be used universally. Now if somebody else could come up with a more suitable word, I would be all for it.

Yeah... but it seems like he is either occupied with making stupid claims elsewhere or he got the message and decided to learn something about cars before posting.

But this is OT... [ANNOUNCER VOICE] "we now return to the thread already in progress."
