not sure about the lancer lights but i have done this to honda lights, if they melt there are a lot of difrent techniques to do this u just gotta find the right way to do it thats why evodave does, he has prefected the technique. But i wouldnt take a chance messin with the es oz and ra lights cause those are hard to come by, now the evo light are like 100 shipped for both so i would try on those.

Uh... I don't know if you noticed, but they are two different cars (as in, nothing fits).

You guys do a search for Pete's sake! This as been covered countless times now. BTW, an owner on here painted her tails a couple of weeks ago and it turned out quite bad... she's probably still sanding the paint off as we speak.

Now, you guys do a search about this before the mods catch you and throw you in the brig or something...

Question

Joe, are you saying you've done tails using the oven method? If so, could you post a quick how to?

Most people around here tend to agree it is not possible... so if you found a way to do it, please share it with us.

So, EvoDave went all the way and decided to work under a company name, uh? Good for him!

Now, for us not so rich people, can someone contribute to this thread by explaining how to bake the tails? BTW: EvoDave cuts them open with a dremel-like tool and reseals them once they're painted (at least that's what he told us). The procedure for this has been posted on this board quite a long time ago. I don't care for that method that much myself because of the high chance of me scruwing up my tails (either while cutting them open or resealing them or both)...

So Joe (or anyone else for that matter), would you care to elaborate on the baking procedure? EvoDave said he gave up on that because he beleived the cover to be fused with the back part...
