Anyone have this happen?
Yesterday I was taking off kinda quick... the tires spun a little bit... then the steering went funny... I went into a left corner and when I straightened out the steering wheel didn't snap back it just kept turning left and it still does that... now it's too easy to turn left and kinda hard to turn right... and it pulls to the left when I'm going straight...

That's the wierdest thing... it looks like you're alignment got thrown off by the tortion force of the axels. I've never heard of such a thing before... you should call the dealer right now! Maybe there's something loose or bent in there...

From: Lakenheath UK, but my heart is in PR
In traffic, when I want to make a fast lane change from a standstill, y hit the throttle a bit hard while turning the wheel and the steering gets quite hard to turn and afterwards returns to normal, but no alignment problems due to it. I think it's normal, but then again, i'm no mechanic so dont mind me.

Did you do any work on the suspension yourself? If not, even the alignment should be covered under waranty if the shift has been caused by a loosening of the stock adjustements on the steering arm or something of the sort.
BTW: I would limit the mileage I put on the car until this is looked at... maybe only one wheel is out of alignment, so it could be hard on the tires.

I'm trying to go the dealer but they aren't answering the phone... and I don't have any suspension modifications... either way they owe me some favors... so they should fix anything...

Mmmm... a dealer with no one to answer the phone? That's dodgy at best...
Any other dealer in your area? If so, you should be able to get your service done there without any more assles...

The dealer that I go to is just an addition to a pontiac/GMC dealership and they only have 1 counter person and 1 mechanic... but I'm trying to stay friendly with them to avoid modification troubles later down the road...

Nothing really serious on mine... only that weird thing with the spring (that could probably be partly attributed to my... errr... spirited driving
).If you get too much problems on this one, it's a lemon and you might be able to force them to give you a brand new one instead.
