Insane Storm Last Night!

There was a bad *** thunderstorm here last, winds up to 70mph, I've driven through blizzards b4 but this was just nuts.

Right as I get on the hwy, it starts. Rain was comming down in sheets, hell it was like someone threw a blanket on my windshield. I accually thought I was driving into a tornado. Visability was ..none existant.. I couldn't even see my hood at times. Somehow I managed to get off without crashing but only to find myself driving through small lakes, which makes my glad I didn't have a CAI, no way would I have been able to drive and not have my engine lock up if one was on. There was tree branches and flash flooding everywhere.

Anyone in Milwaukee knows how bad the storm was last night(obviously not as bad as a hurricane) 100,000 customers were without power, and still around 75,000 are left without power. I heard northern milwaukee got hit the worst, right were I was driving.

There actually tornados the same night I drove my car when I bought it. We were watching the clouds swirling outside and all I kept sayng was "I shoulda go the gap insurance."

On tv they were saying storms are the strongest in the south western side and it just happend to be exactly where I was.

crazyness. I think driving on the highway would have been equally as dangerous as pulling over. Thats pretty crazy. Glad ya made it safe

Thanks, I did make it to an off-ramp accually. The streets weren't as bad, but there were branches all over.

I was up at the grayslake track last night in Wisconsin, I didn't see any storm. I'll ask my friend who lives in Milwaukee about it just to make sure you're not making this whole storm story up
