Hey guys I have completely stock automatic '04 Ralliart and I took it to the dragstrip yesterday. It was my first time ever at the track and my best time was 16.4 seconds in the quarter mile at like 87 mph I think. I'll get back to you on the exact stat. I didn't rev the engine or anything before the light went green, I just simply floored it. Next time I will try revving the engine while pressing the break to see if that helps out the time. But anyways, the 5-speed Ralliart should be around 15.9 seconds in the 1/4 mile according to MotorTrend, my favorite car magazine. My car might've been a little heavier cause I installed a new in dash video/tv/receiver with navigation. Anyone else take their RA to the track? What are your times and whether or not it's an auto or stick. Also, did anyone see a difference in track times after they added a CAI or SRI and/or exhaust? Also, some Evo's were there and you could see how their AWD gave them an advantage over the Mustangs and Camaros at the start.

 

lol ur navigation unit is not going to affect ur car at all. i have the same unit and its not that heavy.

 

I have the Kenwood XXV-05V 25th anniversery along with the Kenwood Nav, ya I know it probably doesn't make a difference but I like to blame my rather slow time on it

 

Is that a handicap driver? Expect low - mid 15's.

 

yea average 5-spd should be mid 15s. low w/ a good driver

 

it might not be your nav. but maybe yourself no offence

I ran a 15.6 on my first pull at the drag last weekend with just an intake. I plan on going again saturday and saving more time off. I was nervous as hell and was spinning a lot. I think I should have been low 15's easy. but I just would get excited and spin my tires bad.
