cf hood cracked

i waited for almost 4 weeks and finally got my hood from rrm, it looked awesome but once i started detailing it i saw that the bottom side has 2 cracks in it that are about 3 in. both. I called the shipping place and they said they would call me back or send someone out, but nothings happening, i think they're trying to blow me off! any tips on how to make sure the claim gets followed through with and i get a hood that isn't messed up?

Get to a manager/supervisor... Also check w/ the company you bought the hood from and see if they could try & help you out a bit w/ the shipping company & possible claim!

Geez dude....if ya can't be helpful then why post? Damn.

Anyways, just keep harrasing the shipping company. Maybe even call RRM and see if Rob can help ya out. I'm sure if a company goes to the shipping company and says he has customers complaining about the shipping service they'll jump a bit faster. After all, no one wants to lose shipping contracts no matter how small. Either way, its worth a try.

Who is the shipping company and I may can give you good advice. Every company is different in handling situations. Fed ex is rediculos if it is with you'll need to file a claim with them contact the seller they'll file a claim and close out your claim but if you did not sign for it damaged it will never stand you'll never get any money. The way most companies see is as no documentation. So since it changed hands they see it as your fault. Sorry man any qestions though i will try to give as good advice as i can.

they shipped it with a company called overnite. its a division of ups i think, for freight. but i plan on getting a new hood, thats just stupid that they broke it and won't suck it up and replace it. i called again today and they were just saying that they are still trying to contact the guy who has to come look at it.
