my new numbers !!!!
About the computer module that eliminates rev limit it is true.. This costs $250 and it has a variable resistor that you can use to adjust fuel +- after 5krpms. The only problem is that its permanently attached to the stock ecu. Thi is made by LM auto Computer here in PR and the guy modifies the stock ecu. He has the fastest auto Hyundai in the world with a 1.5l turbo slushbox Accent in the mid 9's and 150mph. I would try to post the guy's Phone # in case someone is interested.
having worked for mitsubishi and taken the mivec apart i would have to say the near 10k rpms are possible. i for one believe this, i run a 75 shot and use it VERY often and have had no problems. i have a friend in pr and have seen some of the work over there and all i have to say is wow. however i have also heard that certain dynos over there are inaccurate and add up to 20 hp over the actual numbers. i do not know if this is true, but i have heard it several times. from what i understand there are only a handfull of dynow there anyway. but props on the numbers, i will be there soon i hope.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and call BS. Your going to tell me a 4G69's crank can go 9k+ without melting? This i need to see in person. I mean were talking about a friggin 2.4 Liter with a stock bottom end.....there is a 6,500 redline for a reason...along with the near 7k limiter. If it is true then contrats...expect the motor to blow up the next time you launch at 7+ rpm and throw on the nitrous.
