Question DIY Clutch Block?

I was just wondering has anyone tried the clutch block out? There was very little interest and some negative comments, I was just trying to find out if anyone has tried/liked this mod besides me. My friend Bert has a BMW Z3 Coupe and instructs with a couple different driving schools and is the one who showed me the light. The 2nd of January I will be doing my fifth clutch block install, this time in a 2001 Honda Civic for another friend of mine. He has an ACT clutch and flywheel and we are going to back the clutch pushrod out to take the clutch off the floor and add a block to shorten the throw. I hope you guys try this, it's very simple and if you don't like it, take it out.
