It takes out (or surpresses)all the electronic "static" or electronic "noise" from poor factory grounding points, which this static can interfere with all the sensitive "sensors" under your hood. I dont know if this is correct or not.......................But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Select last night!

Grounding kit is more for electronics than it is for performance. They better voltage to electronic usage, like amps, speakers etc but do nothing for performance per se. Pretty much it aids the flow of electricity, like if you are runnign a sound system that when it hits, your lights dims. With a stock stereo system, it wont do squat.

I am sure some quality grounding kit does add might be 2-4 hp......but you won't feel it unless you dyno them....but it still good to have them installed at least it will improve the throttle response, sound & illumination etc

Then thats a plus! then maybe the HP is there also. I read in a magazine they do add HP. dyno with it off/added the grounding kit/re-dynoed, 6-12 HP gain. they tried different ones. I dont know if you would "feel" 2-3 hp though. (seat of the pants)

yea well i got an import tuner mag on my lp right now and the number gains for the following is this....

honda s2000 - hp gain of .5 tq gain of .9

on an mazda rx-8 hp gain of 2.5 tq gain of 1.4

please note that the rx-8 gaind only 1.6 hp and .4 tq with an exhaust... so this grounding kit did better hp gain for an rx-8 then an exhaust system.....

i know every car has different results, ad you cannot feel half an hp, but hey you cant argue with numbers...

I agree! I noticed a smoother idle, and I'm hoping these wires will help when I finish up my sound system. That's really the only reason I installed them.
