Heh! I just bought a house. I'll be waiting 6 months with you BDD but for different reasons (I'm growing a red mohawk and installing a rollbar and a true WOT NOS bottle ! I'm not worried about service or performance w/ these guys. Check out rpw's homepage and drool over a 6 pack TB set for a 6A12.... Then tell me you have reservations about their ability to R&D a project from start to finish. That engine gets even less love than ours does! I'll be working on my best Humongus impersonations too once I find a stainless steel hockey mask! Bring the Thunda' from down Unda'!!!!

I have no doubts about RPW's ability to make a good product. It's Accolade's involvement in distributing it that I shy away from.

Like I said, I'll still be waiting and watching first. They maybe a great company, but they are partnering with Accolade and I've seen WAAAAY too many issues from them to not have reservations first.

Question

Knowing David from RPW the way that I do I highly doubt that he would jepordise his business name and reputation by being involved with another company that is not going to represent him to the standard that he would be demanding...

I think that buying parts from RPW thru Accolade is a bargain, you are getting twice the value especially if David is getting a RA himself to mod as well, if one of the Davids can't answer your questions or help solve a problem then I am sure that the other David will be able to...

i would agree with chowtime on this, and by looking at the RPW website they are taking their time to ensure the maximum gains per product, i like that about this company because most companies do not tell the public what they are working on........very good updated information from the RPW team!!!!!!! like everyone says it's nice to see our RA get more attention! We have a lot more options for our car now!

I haven't had any dealings w/ Accolade but I do know they import all the body kits and THAT is most of the problem. It's cheaper to import but then you have to deal with a pacific rim distributor who has to deal with a local distributor who has to deal with... you get the idea I hope. RPW-> Accolade -> you should be a much easier chain of supply to maintain contact with. RPW seems a little too up front about their time frames for developement to be jerking someone around on delivery times. If there's a delay I wouldnt be surprised if you received an email from RPW before they informed Accolade of it. They realize how much a little honesty is worth and probably want to keep whatever advantages they can. Or they could just runaway with all our cash screaming "Oy!" like a former football player :P

Just my .02. Everyone has the right to spend their money with whomever they feel comfortable with to get whatever form of customization they want, be it show or go. I just don't want to shoot these guys in the foot untill they've actually stepped out of line.

Accolade is founded and based in Asia, I merely act as a freight forwarder, Accolade manufactured parts and the like is very much all from the Asians who run it...

Now im forwarding all RPW parts so I dont see any issues arising, I have always been reliable and have always delivered, remember this is totally independent of what people concieve as "accolade" this is essentially Accolade SportParts which is totally different... I am personally coordinating everything free and independent..

If any indication you can look to my personal trader rating to gauge how well I will be able to serve your RPW needs.

I can't vouch for RPW as I have not purchased any parts from them. And I can not vouch for Accolade as I have not recieved my kit as of yet, but as far as Dave goes. I can say he has taken care of me pretty good. When I was trying to order my kit I was having a ***** of a time. Dave pm'd and called me personally to get everything working and straighten out to make sure I was happy. Which I did appreciate very much... now if he would only make Accolade make me a set of wide body fenders (hint hint).

Ok people, let stay focus. We don't need another (what seems like) "accolade" bash thread. If your don't like acc. or what there doing for RPW, keep it to yourself. If your gonna wait it out 6months, 1 year, 2 years or 10years down the road... that's fine, the rest of us will be enjoying our new mods soon.
