As stated in the webpage, the photo of the headers are going to look virtually identical to the photo provided. If you look at all of RPW headers, they all look the same. The only variation in this case will be possible the diameter of the headers and the length of the piping underneath the sump whether it will be a total length of say 32" or 40"

As far as the haltech goes - yes you can configure the haltech unit as a switch to turn permanently on or off the Mivec solenoid as it is an eletronically activated unit which then allows oil pressure to be activated.

The point with the tuning is that we can tune it and set the mivec point (Especially with camshafts) to a more appropiate point higher / lower to maximise horsepower, but as said raise it higher for an economy tune so that as you are moving between gears up to cruising speed or cruising at a higher speed, you don't keep sitting on that mivec change over point and sucking gas.

Basically all the options you referred to a 89 octane to 93 octane option is all do-able with the haltech duel mapping option its just a case of what way you want to set it up. My idea is just one of many.

The haltech software is a free download and comes with the kit so you can go anywhere and tune it at any dyno shop.

Damn right I want some cliff notes. This is the internet. I come here to read as little as possible. If I wanted to read I'd go to the library. And even when I go there I end up just listening to my MP3 player and taking naps.
