I totally agree with you aritmetic......im tired of looking on these forums and seeing people bash companies. unless your making a product yourself, keep your comments to yourself. People on here come on and get mad when they feel like the mods are not letting them have the freedom of speech, freedom of speech works both ways, if you aint got nothing constructive to say don't say it..............

I'm not bashing anybody. I simply made a comment that I'd rather wait till others have confirmed that they like the products being produced before I spend my money on it. How is that bashing somebody? Sounds like good advice for a lot of these younger members on here. The ones that don't have tons of money to afford taking a hit when they purchase something bad. And if you are referring to my second post when I talked about the other problems people have voiced about Accolade, the only reason I made that post was to further explain my original post.

The very same thing was said by a member or two in the thread for the new projectors on ebay. All they said was that they didn't want to be the first to try them out (because of trust in ebay) and that they would wait and see the feedback from others. Were those people bashing too? Matter of fact, they made the right decision also because from the sound of it those projectors don't seem to be all that cool and the cheap price is in fact indicitive of what you are getting.

So Arithmetic, thanks for trying to be the Ralliart Forum Dad, but it's really not needed. Let the mods do their job and handle all the bashing and off topic posts as they see fit.

So I need to make products now to make comments? Ummm....ok. And I'm not really sure where you were going with you freedom of speech comment either. And just so you know I was being constuctive with my comments. Just because you don't "like" a comment does not automatically make it non-constructive.

Now it's getting blown out of proportion people. BDD has every right to wait just like you have a right to dive in and cut a path. I never meant to insinuate that BDD was bashing Accolade. They have had problems before, I just wanted to point out what has since been declared by Dave, it's a different subsection working seperately. This can be a good thing or a bad thing. We don't know yet. I was just begging forbearance before ANYONE made a rash decision (which it seems has allready happened). What happened to tolerance people?!?!?! BDD hasn't said anything wrong. Let's leave it at that with my appologies to BDD if my comments had anything to do with Arithmetics conclusions. My intent was to have everyone wait awhile before passing judgement for a change..... Well I guess there's still some hope starting now.

Okay how 'bout starting now then?

Now?

There hasnt been any approximate date given, it will be more of a gradual release of different parts, all RPW parts are thoroughly tested for the maximum gains and time is not an issue when excellence is concerned... RPW is taking their time to ensure the best...

Gee you guys don't want much not only do you want performance parts and info on what we are doing, and special web pages with pics plus plan of attack.... and now you want cliff notes....

Ok here is the skinny version you can scroll down the page and stop at Job 7 this is basicly showing you the different ways and how we are going to come up with the best possible headers for you and also explaining how there will be different options.

Job 10 describes that over the next couple of days a Haltech interceptor will be wired into the car and David also explains the advantages of having this piggy back as you can run a couple of different maps etc as well as a NOS setup this will probably be more user friendly for the N.A guys and girls(me)
Then he will adding a GReddy E Manage which will be more for the turbo people along with buying the GReddy and Haltech you will also be able to have the maps already installed so it will be a simple plug and play

they have already started on this so it will only be a matter of a couple of days before the results will be seen

They are also working on a CAI as well... I am trying not to disturb or interupt him too much as I need him working so I will try and answer as many questions as I can

The header post isn't anything without pictures of the actual product. When that prototype gets in and installed, let us know then; otherwise it seems like our time is being wasted.

On the comp tuning thing, I like the idea being presented of an economy tune and a performance tune wrapped up into one piggyback, but if the idea is jus to adjust when the Mivec kicks in to improve gas mileage, I doubt it would work for an automatic. MIVEC in top gear doesn't kick in until the car is going about 85MPH, high enough to get you pulled over on the freeway in nearly every state in the US (most freeway speed limits here are 70 or less; there are a couple that are 80 tho). If I'm driving this fast, it certainly isn't for the sake of trying to save on gas. If I drive like a normal human being, chances are, I'd only see MIVEC when moving to pass someone on the freeway, and that's it. I don't know about the sticks, maybe it can give them some help.

Also, I thought that MIVEC was activated by a physical switch based on oil pressure? If it can't, what I'd prefer to see is a piggy that can be switched off on-the-fly, as opposed to an 'always on' piggy like the one from RRM (but being able to reprogram it with a laptop does help a little). But if MIVEC can be controlled electronically, maybe something could be done to make MIVEC kick in at lower RPMs too for even better performance? Or maybe two different performance settings, something for 89 octane, and something for either premium octane, race gas, or NOS (though admittedly, I wouldn't pay a premium for a feature like that).
