yeah, I want RPW to do good, but I am very skeptical with accolade as the US front. To tell you the truth, I would still buy from accolade if I were in the market for body parts and found one of theirs desirable. As much crap as they have gotten on here, there has to be at least a few good stories. I won't be buying anything from them soon, don't get me wrong. But I will definitely consider buying something from RPW through them. Only because I don't anticipate having any problems with the PRODUCT and therefore not needing to call for customer service. I will let accolade dig themselves out of the hole with there body kits for now and regain some credit before I buy.

ALL companies have problems at one point or another, it's the ones that stick around after the fact and work through them that make it as a business. And it comes from ALL companies. I am sure RRM has some disgruntled customers out there, just like Best Buy, McDonalds, Microsoft.... etc. Liek I said, wait awhile and see what happens to accolade. If they never improve, they will dissappear.

Every vendor has it's bad and good. RRM just tends to have a lot of good compared to bad.

Please don't bash or hate against RPW due to their choice of vendors. They are just trying to get parts more readily available to you guys. In the past they had some issues but they've overcome them from what i've seen. Now their only flaw is not being able to supply fast in the US. That's why they are using Accolade.

Soon RRM will offer some of RPW's performance parts... when that happens you'll be able to decide which is best to go with as far as a local vendor.

However don't jump a vendor due to their supplier's issues... instead judge them on their quality and proven abilities.

thanks for the concern... i just didn't want things getting out of hand in regards to Accolade or RPW. They tend to do that. So i made the statement, which i feel is very honest and to the point, in an attempt to keep that subject in perspective.

In no way am i bashing anyone, am I? I didn't think so anyway...

Okay just because you don't have it on a post it in front of you doesn't mean it isn't available. Btw I didn't have to dig too hard for these numbers on their website. Click on how to order then click here for the order form. Showed up right at the top left like any other bill of sale.

and yes it's 08 it's called a country code for anyone who hasn't called another country before. A.G. Bell just gave the USA (1) for long distance out of nepotism :P

On a different note people, listen to Boe if you won't listen to me. Any competition is good for us. The more choices available, the wider a selection you have to choose from to make your ride a one of a kind. If the only mod available for your car is a CAI then you fall into 1 of 2 groups. If there's more out there, the less chance of someone else having the exact same mods, if you want to stay w/ the flock you shouldn't have bought a RA! Celebrate your differences otherwise you end up an extremist! Okay I'm stepping off the soap box again for awhile. Can't we go back to bashing Honda's or something ? lol no offense Honda owners.

This has got to be the single stupidest thread I have ever seen in these forums. Why does it seem like people feel that RPW and Accolade are coming here to destroy RA aftermarket?

I can just imagine the mindset of most of you. Here comes the 800lb gorilla of Accolade and RPW swooping in from the fires of Mt. Doom, stomping down our intrepid hero RRM with inferior customer service and crappy parts for all, and mindless RA owners pouring thousands of hard-earned dollars into the RPW/Acc hype machine for stuff that doesn't work. All the while the men in charge of RPW and Accolade wring their hands in devilish delight, wearing handlebar mustaches and perfecting their EvilLaugh(r).

GIVE ME A BREAK, and stop insulting my, and most other Ralliart owner's intelligence by thinking that we won't make a wise decision when it comes down to selecting what aftermarket parts we decide to put on our cars. RRM has had the market to themselves since pretty much the start. I welcome another company that can provide both competing and complementary parts to help maximize the performance of our cars. Besides, I'm sure they know that if their parts don't make the cut, neither will they as a vendor/manufactuer/distributor.

I hope the idiocy in this thread gets locked down.

All I will say is that I have bought 3 items for my car, 2 from RRM one from a vendor on e-bay. RRM's parts are A+ quality. The Item I didn't buy from RRM was an aem intake. We all should show a little support to RRM because if it were not for them there probably would be NO aftermarket support for our cars. I am glad to see other companies making stuff for us. More options the better.

again i didnt mean for this to turn into anykind of bashing. i also welcome other companies to the ra market and wish them luck. i never said anything about RPW. i just wanted to show a little support for RRM. but you know what? they dont even need it, there parts and reputation speak for themselves. and maybe RPW's will too. you cant crittisize RPW, because there isnt anything available yet. i didnt mean to offend anyone.

No reason to count out either vendor. Both are hard at work with R&D, however, RRM is keeping quiet. In the past, almost every time they've publicly announced that they're going to make something, someone else tries to beat them to it. Both vendors are thoroughly experienced with Lancers and neither should disappoint.

As far as Accolade, nobody here as had a chance to buy from their parts business, which runs completely independent of that Sri Lanka operation. Just wait and see what happens. Put your money where you feel is best for your interest.

Also, Boe speaks wisely.

Gonna close this before it turns ugly.
