Eh, I forgot to mark mine, too. When it warms up I'm going to take it off and mark it real quick. Will come in handy when it's time to change the timing belt.

Stack it on top of the stock pulley, with the bolt holes and key hole lined up. Make a mark on the UDP that lines up with the mark on the stock pulley. I used a small triangular file to make the mark on mine. Doesn't have to be much, just visible when you're cranking the engine over by hand to line up the mark.

EDIT: Here's a pic of my mark I posted a while back:

i always just put a ding in the lip with a center punch and hammer, but i think ill do this from now on. goes to show old mechanics can learn new tricks (although we are stubborn as hell!)

Everyone with the pulley has noticed the lights dimming at idle. It hasn't caused any problems, though.

yeah , the dimming does happen. What I'm wondering though is how the car handles now that you have the tiebar?

What is the problem(if any) if you don't have the pulley installed at top dead center. The only thing I did was line up where the little inner hole in on each pulley, but i'm no mechanic....not by any means. Can someone discuss potential problems if this was not done correctly. Thanks.

It's not so much a problem with the pulley, as it will be when you go to adjust valve lash. There's a mark on the stock pulley that lines up with a mark on the timing cover to tell you when the engine is at TDC. Without the mark on the pulley, you can't tell exactly where TDC is. You can get close enough for adjusting your valves by rotating the crank while wiggling the valve rockers, but it's much easier to just rotate the crank and line up a mark.

Yes the dimming at idle is normal. That is the only downside of running a smaller pulley although when I did testing I did not notice this because it was warm out. The demand was not there for a stock sized pulley as much because people want the most HP they could get.

the holes drilled in the pulley are for reduced weight. obviously....but is there a chance debris can get through holes to where timing belt is?
