Trying to buy Ralliart HELP

Do you think i can find a used Lancer Ralliart for under $ 10,000? There just arent that many used ralliarts in my area, even though there a tons of used car dealers and individual dealers. I figure its possible because my friend got his 2003 eclipse (which is $1000 bucks more new than the 2004 ralliart) for under 6k with a starting used price of 9. His front bumper was entirely banged up so he got the price down. I am thinking maybe this is what i can do, find one with some scratches or banged up a bit to get it under 10k. Is it possible?

Not too many used ones out there unfortunately, and they just came out in 2004. Who knows....$10k might be doable. But whatever you do....don't get an automatic....they are much more fun with the manual!

Good Luck! -- and welcome to evoM!

yeah take it from someone who sells cars for a living now (hung up the wrench back in late 04) a ralliart in ANY kind of decent condition is gonna be 12500-14000 (04 model). but you never know. search the classifieds, find an owner who is selling and doesnt have all the overhead of a dealership, or all the financing and reconditioning fees.

Try e-bay. there are a couple of Sportbacks that were under $10k. You might hits a good deal on there.

Funny that an additional $1000 gets you an RA with 70,000 fewer miles.
